Position Summary:
The ISR will have accountability to secure appointments for Luminary Sales Managers with target personnel at small to medium sized businesses (30-300 employees) in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The position has three primary elements of accountability:
(1) New Account Prospecting in Key Verticals - Identify and qualify new prospective customers through a combination of internet research, current news, key associations, published company directories, and the use of purchased databases.
(2) Appointment Setting - Secure a meeting between a Luminary Sales Manager and target personnel in small-to-medium sized businesses through cold calling and the use of email. Typical target personnel would be: Owner, President, CEO, CFO, CIO, Managing Partner, Executive Director, Legal Administrator, Technology Partner, and Director of IT.
(3) Pipeline Management - Tracking daily activity for each prospective customer in accpaccrm.com. Analyze campaign results to recommend optimal marketing strategies and test different approaches.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 2 years inside sales experience, ideally selling or setting appointments for an
Information Technology product or service.
- Experience calling to principles at small to medium businesses (30-300 employees) in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
- Experience with any of the following vertical segments is a plus: legal, financial services/accounting, associations/non-profits, insurance, professional services.
- High quality phone presence and enthusiasm.
- Be a team player with a strong work ethic who takes ownership of their job.
- Excellent computer skills and use of the internet for research.
